Warren Gregoire & associates offered our first aviation headset, the AIR-500 (listen only) in 1987. The first boom mic version, AIR-600 was introduced in 1988, followed by our most popular AIR-680 in 1989. Since then, the AIR-680 has been designated officially as “original equipment” by a major manufacturer of commuter airliners. The AIR-680 has been used daily in the USA, by airline flight crews as they carry passengers along commuter routes. The headset product line was expanded in 1996 to include the TR-2000 professional communications headset, for non-aviation applications. Although designed and manufactured to high professional standards, the Model TR-2000 has been popular also with amateur radio operators who require its higher level of performance.

GUARANTY / WARRANTY

When you receive our headset, you have a full 30 days to examine and use it, before you are committed to keeping it. If, during that time, you decide to return it, you may send it back in reasonable condition to receive a full refund of the original purchase price (not including shipping & handling charges). We ask you to phone us before you send it, so we can be sure you have our current and appropriate address, and to help expedite your refund. For the first year after purchase, we offer to repair or replace free of charge any headset that fails due to a manufacturing defect, excluding misuse and abuse. The user is asked to pay for shipping to us, but we pay for return shipping after the service.

RETURN / REFUND POLICY

We want to give our headset clients ample opportunity to try out the product before they are committed to keeping it. So we offer all buyers an automatic return privilege that enables them to return it for a full refund of all charges except original shipping and handling, during the first thirty days after receipt. However, in some cases the client might need longer because of bad flying weather, aircraft repairs, annuals, extended travel, advance gift purchase, poor radio conditions, etc. We generally are open to extending the money back period a bit longer, even over 60 days, if we are requested to do so.

If you do need to return your purchase, please phone us to be sure you have the current and appropriate address. Then you should receive a credit on the same card or PayPal account you used to place your order, within about one week after we receive your eligible returned merchandise. In event you have paid by check, we shall mail a refund check to you.

You may select whichever carrier you prefer for your return shipment. We find that USPS, Fedex and UPS all are extremely reliable, and they rarely lose or damage a package. This makes a good argument for declining any extra cost insurance. But you should be aware that as the shipper, you are financially responsible in the truly rare event that the package might be lost or damaged. And the carriers offer to take that small risk for you, with insurance, at extra cost. So please purchase insurance, only at your discretion.
